The Three Bays

Just south of Diego Suarez lies a stretch of coastline where turquoise waters meet untouched white-sand beaches - the stunning Three Bays. Named for their unique shapes and sheltered lagoons, Baie des Sakalava, Baie des Pigeons, and Baie des Dunes each offer their own charm.

The walk between them takes you along windswept headlands, quiet coves, and crystal-clear shallows perfect for swimming. Kitesurfers often skim across the waves in Baie des Sakalava, while Baie des Pigeons is a peaceful haven for seabirds, and Baie des Dunes remains wonderfully secluded.

This coastal trail is a photographer's dream, with sweeping ocean views and stretches of sand so empty they feel like your own private paradise. Whether you stroll the beaches, wade into the gentle surf, or simply sit and take in the horizon, the Three Bays are a perfect escape into Madagascar's wild beauty. We'll end the day with a picnic by the shore, letting the sea breeze and ocean views be your final memory before heading back.
